Motorized Y-axis
The entire source, detector and optical system of the scanner can be moved in the Y-direction (so perpendicular to the core depth) with an accuracy of 0.005 mm. In combination with the standard measurement in the X – direction (down core), this option allows 2D mapping of the split core surface.
